He is teaching Economics of Development and Macro-Economics.

  • Evaluated the performance of MGNREGA in the districts of Bankura in West Bengal, Bhilwara in Rajasthan, Koraput in Odisha and Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh as a member of the central expert team, Ministry of Rural Develop,ment, Govt. of India during 3rd to 18th January 2014.
  • Evaluated the performance of MGNREGA in the districts of Kanker in Chhatisgarh, Chandrapur in Maharastra, Birbhum in West Bengal, East and West Garo Hills in Meghalaya as a member of the central expert team ,MORD, Govt. of India during winter vacation of the University from 23st December 2012 to 26th January 2013.
  • Evaluated the performance of MGNREGA in the districts of Coimbatore and Salem in Tamilnadu, Allepey in Kerala, Nizamabad and Vijayanagaram in Andhra Pradesh and Keonjhar in Orissa as a member of the central team headed by Mr. K.B. Saxena, Former Secretary, MORD, Govt. of India from 17th December 2011 to 16th January 2012.
  • Participated as a member in the 3rd meeting of the expert group on Research Methods in MGNREGA constituted by the Ministry of Rural Development, GOI. The meeting was held at NIRD, Hyderabad on 10th October 2011 and presided by Mr. B.N. Yugondhar, Former Member, Planning Commission of India.
